This programme is designed to provide participants with functional knowledge and skills in Graphic Design, Audio-Visual Production, Social Media and Web Applications and Digital Marketing. The technical skills taught in this programme will prepare participants for 21st century job opportunities.
Several studies have shown that digital entrepreneurship can strongly contribute to reducing poverty and improving livelihoods.
Digital and creative entrepreneurship makes entrepreneurship more inclusive. Under-represented population groups in entrepreneurship could be more likely to benefit from certain features of digital technologies for business creation and growth, including the lower start-up costs required for many digital businesses and the wider access to external markets offered by the internet.
In St. Lucia there is a significant need to expand the reach of our services and products. Digital content creation and distribution can support a bottom-up approach that does not rely heavily on government intervention, and that can evolve as platforms, services and industry grow.
